Just me and Jim on this one. On our way to the Kinlochleven spring meet.
Standard WH route.
We had originally planned to set off about 7 o`clock but there was to be early rain forecast so we hung it out a bit and took our time and even stopped in at The Green Welly for some mountain breakfast, and at the price it is served you think you were getting a whole mountain of food !
But it was delicious, and Jim paid so who cares how much it cost ???
We met Hutchy & Anne, and also Rod Heffner and his bevvy of mountain babes ! You know who you are girls !
After about 11 we all set off on our various adventures as the sun started to appear and blue skies weren`t far away.
We left the car park at Victoria Bridge and headed along the West Highland Way towards the Glen Kinglas (the finest mountain bike track in the country I tell you !)(private joke) cut off.
We set off in waterproofs but they were soon off before we started to gain height, the sun was out for the duration now.
Fairly simple climb up to the summit where we had great views all around us.

We sat for a bit taking in the views, Rannoch Moor`s "emptiness" was pretty impressive, and we had we look out for my new Nemesis, the rather tame Meall nan Euan. And wondered what hill Rod & his wonder women were climbing.
We soon headed off towards Stob Gabhar. I`ve always wanted to climb this hill since I heard of it, great mountain name.
Stop Gabharrrrrrrr, that`s what i thought it sounded like, now i`ve just listened to the pronunciation it sounds ....not so great.

The walk over looked pretty daunting, but it was simple enough and as we chatted away time passed very quickly and soon we were at the other Aonach Eagach "ridge" was looking forward to this but coulda done on my hands
