Walked this on moist July afternoon. Wet and slippery on ascent to top of crags, rewarded with superb views over reservoir from the top. Easy to diverge from route descending back to start (going clockwise) ending up on roadway- really only an issue if walking with dogs, which we were. Can recommend this walk, only basic fitness level required, should wear good boots for grip.
