Although i did this walk about 2 years ago it's still one of my favourites.
we decided to take take path thru sron aonaich because it's not that steep. i'm not sure whether it was a right decision as on the way back (via ptarmigan) i nearly killed my knees and had a really bad day or two (knee-wise) afterwards.
anyway, the day was nice, companions great, views excellent :)

Lovely photos and well done, do you use walking poles?, I found my knees hurting a lot after hillwalking and a friend recommended using walking poles and they really help.

yeah i use poles when descending only (it actually makes difference), i find them disturbing during ascent.
