Congratulations and well done   Looked a good day for it too. Puts into perspective the distance many of us have to travel to the hills compared to you  - cheers :)

Looks like you had better weather than that cold day on the Tarmachan ridge last year, although that day was so much fun that I'll never forget it

Oh that was a great day and the pics in the clag turned out great. It was great collecting people as we went along!

Interestingly enough (or not!), I was reflecting on gear yesterday and musing that irrespective of the season, in Scotland you have to take quite a lot of clothing, just in case! It was sunny and clear but in the gusts pretty nippy!

I was walking in Switzerland, near St Moritz, last week, staying below 3,000m and I took so much stuff with me to the merriment of my boyfriend. I used none of it!

A great achievement. It would be interesting to know of any other foreign nationals that have done all the munros. ~ Not including the English and Welsh. :D

Yes indeed. I know there have been some Germans and Dutch. I also so what I think was a Greek name in the list of Munroists.

I'm the same, always rather carry things I don't need than need something I don't have. I carry my down jacket all year round and I've been mighty glad of it on windy summer days

 Well, it wasn't that unreasonable a conclusion given the title of the report, the fact that 20 per year could be managed suggesting long distances and the reference to "transnational personal life" That said, I guess the phrase "..the long drive from Falkirk to the Kyle of Tongue.." was a bit of a giveway as one is unlikely to fly in to Falkirk from France....  - cheers :)

Very well done indeed!
So glad you got a good day for it and agree being the first French compleation definitely calls for more champagne.

Félicitations pour la "compleation" et pour être la première Française d'avoir grimpé tous les Munros !

Wonderful report, great pictures and surely a worthy location to celebrate the final Munro. I hope to be in the same situation in, oh, 24 years...
