I live just over the Hill from the Buck and have always wanted to walk it...on doing this walk I can now say its off my list and its not one I will rush back to do again! My 5 year old son came with me on the day, hence the time it took to climb up, its not a great track for a little person who in places isn't much higher than some of the heather! Once at the summit we couldn't stand up due to gusts of wind so we quickly has a small snack and took the easy way back down on what may I add was a sodden track and almost like a small swimming pool in places!
