Ran into Sandwood Bay one evening. I was overtaking those walking in to camp for the night and the daytrippers coming back.

I ended up having a 20 minute window with no-one else on the beach. Running down through the dunes that eventually parted to reveal the full extent of the bay was like arriving at the end of the world. It felt like the closing scene of the original "Plant of the Apes" movie!

I was so impressed with the place that I convinced the wife to walk in with me the next day (she wasn't disappointed) and even carried in my drone to make the film below. The later shots show how good the path is.

Hope you enjoy!
