Set off about quater past two, on the last saturday before the clocks go back.

Cloud on the tops, poor visibility from the top of doune hill onwards. dark from about 1/3 of the descent. saw the same barn owl three times in glen mollochan. heard a bird call that sounded like a miaow but starting with a "k".

left foot sore, the new boots? or the running?
