Wall? Floor? Who knows where it ended up???

A crispy crunchy sunny trail run in the morning got the weekend off to a smashing start :D

Showers, a quick bag pack and we were off to Arrochar.

Several ideas were discussed on the short journey north and we decided to revisit my old friend the Cobbler.

The lovely zig-zags started off fairly steeply and fairly icy, and continued to really steep and really icy. Once we hit the thick snow the walking got easier and the chance of a sore fall diminished.

As always the reward of seeing the old fella in all his glory was well worth the sweaty slidey ascent. Everyone we met was full of chat and smiles because of the wonderful conditions, one of whom was Magicdin (didn't realise who he was until later when he messaged to say that we had met on the hill)

It was mid afternoon by the time we reached the Narnain boulders. A wee discussion followed and we decided to turn back, we had a bottle of Prosecco waiting for us.

A fantastic stay at the Loch Long hotel rounded off our fab wee weekend away and even got to meet another WH member who turned out to be GLW's biggest fan!!!!
