New years day and a short walk was planned.
Hadn't planned on all 3 in this circuit but 2 maybe today
Left the car at the old visitors centre and headed up the WHW until the railway bridge. Hang a right and the muddy plod began until it became a snowy plod.
Highlight was 6 deer on the way up
Wasn't sure if there was a substantial cairn or not but there were a few boulders stuck together with ice and I made it 901m. That'll do
Wasn't going any further today as conditions were poor on the summit.
Glad I didn't as the snow came on quite heavily as I descended.
Lowlight on the way down was 4 or 5 slips on my erse
Time to throw everything into the car- quick scrape of the windscreen and a really slow drive to Crianlarich- really slow!!
