I parked in a lay-by where logs were being stacked. It is before the signpost for the start of the walk. I checked with the driver of the truck stacking the logs that it was OK to park beside his car. Apart from that every part of the walk was the same as described in WH. The conditions were perfect for a boggy walk, it was frozen solid, a light dusting of snow till I got to East Craig Hill where it was 2-3 inches deep over grass and heather so glad I'd put my gaiters on. On the way over to East Craig Hill there was a path to cut the corner, but I stuck to the defined route. I was tempted to walk over to West Craig Hill but eventually decided to keep it for another day. The walk back seemed to take forever.
Really enjoyed it, sunny not too cold in the wind.
