My First Munro!

Route description: Sgòr Gaoith, from Glen Feshie

Munros included on this walk: Sgòr Gaoith

Date walked: 11/01/2018

Time taken: 8 hours

Distance: 16 km

Ascent: 1200m

For my first Munro as a rookie I got a beautiful winter sunny day after a very foggy start :D

I did good use of my new crampons and ice axe from the start as without them don't even think about as would be simply suicidal :shock:

As I'm not very good in word and rather post some pictures to document this amazing day out :D

I did add Sgoran Dubh Mor Summit on the original road as too tempting :lol:

Oh be careful after the Geal-Charn summit on the way down as quite very steep and rocky with deep snow accumulation especially when dark :crazy:

Well done on #1 :thumbup: A rather gloomy start weatherwise but nice conditions once up high - makes it all worth it. Good view over Loch Eanaich - one of my favourite mountain biking routes out there from Coylumbridge - cheers :)
