We where staying at the ardgarten caravan site on loch long in arrochar so Beinn Ime,Narnain,and Vane looked up for grabs some people do these as a one shot deal walk but not me I ain’t that fit
Plus We had two weeks to take so was in no rush Narnain was my first choice did not want to go straight up the frontal assault way so followed zigzag track

opposite large car park NN295048 up to below creag an fhithich turning left heading toward the alt a bhalachain dam

walking straight up just before narnain boulders can’t miss them they are massive turning off right and climbed up steep slopes between cruach nam miseag and the spearhead osmap364 no problem navigating very popular group of munros the weather on the way up was great but sods law came into play and thick fog prevailed typical eh still enjoyed it that’s what its all about

Ach Andy - it's the luck of the draw. Looks like you didn't get great weather for either Ime or Narnain These hills were my first post on this site and think I was a lot luckier with the weather.........this time, but not for others

I hear that rockhopper every time we go up to see family in scotty its either raining or thick fog (only kidding )can't think of a better place to be when the weathers good coming up in april for a 4 week trip next year hope weather is going to be kind then
