January has provided us with a mixed bag of weather, although this doesn't come as a surprise when you're living in the UK. As with most months this has provided us with a great collection of walk reports. Some of you managed to make the most of the clear yet crisp days whilst others battled poor visibility, freezing temperatures and even chest deep snow.

Despite the difficulties faced we throughly enjoyed reading each and every report. We couldn't think of a better way to kick off 2018's year of hiking, bagging and scrambling. However there can only be two prize winners.

For the first prize of £60 to spend at Webtogs we decided to go with 'The Perfect Day' by Steven001. This report perfectly sums up what we were talking about when we mentioned those clear and crisp days and we were all blown away by the beauty of your photos and writing.

For the runner's up prize of £30 to spend at Webtogs the vote was unanimous. We wanted to award this to UrbanExplorer for his report 'Addicted to Recover (89) Beginnings: Ben Cleuch via The Law.' We commend you on your bravery for taking the steps to make over your life and sharing those with us, and we hope this prize goes a way to help you get some new gaiters and keep you on the trail.

Thats all for this month, once again we'd like to thank everyone who took the time to submit a report and share their adventures with us. We can't wait to see what February brings for you and we look forward to reading all about it soon.
