JPM club. Just Ken Milne, Alan McKechnie and myself. Weather was fairly mild and certainly not as cold as my copious amount of clothing made it look like! Complete snow cover further up. Although not absolutely necessary, we used our crampons to make it slightly easier to walk on some of the icier stretches. So, I got my first chance to use my Monta Rosa crampons! Getting them proved quite easy but the spare end of the strap kept coming undone: will have to do something about it.

There were a lot of people climbing. The conditions at the summit were good but there was no visibility with the low cloud and the cloud and snow made for a completely dis-orienteering white-out. We didn't go on to do Stuc a'Chroin as we'd all done it and it would have been hard work navigating. We don't think anyone went on to do it.
