Parking was immediately beside start of walk. No long trek in for this one, ascent starts immediately albeit much of it with stairs and railings and bridges, but very scenic, until path veers off the short Mill Glen circular. 8:30am start meant walk was quiet. All in met only one family, two mountain bikers, four runners, and a few individuals all willing to stop for a few words about the glorious day. Steep but no problems to top of the Law. Some squelching and some 3-6" deep snow banks between the Law and beyond Ben Cleuch for a bit, although nothing too difficult.
Immediately to the north of Ben Cleuch trig point is now a 20 wind turbine farm which is only visible within a few hundred yards of the top. Ben Cleuch distant destinations pointer is very worn and therefore fairly useless.
Blue skies and only trails of high cloud, so clear tops, although distant views were hazy. Mostly pleasantly warm, except for some colder winds on some exposed parts. Weather encouraged the circular route as WH described, taking in Ben Ever. Enough time to wander off route and pick my own way up Craighorn. Then pick a route around and down to rejoin Mill Glen path back. A good day, with coffee in Tillicoultry to finish - cafes or Costa to choose from.
