The westernmost of the Monadh Liath Munros was a good target for day of mixed weather. As usual, the drive along Loch Laggan had some fine scenes.

The path to Geal Charn gave us nice views of the Feith Talagain stream.

Soon a stream, and the path, branched off uphill, giving us a distant glimpse of this nice waterfall on the Feith Talagain.

Stones for a sit down are rare on the lower parts of this walk!

The view back down to the valley from the south ridge of Geal Charn.

Soon after that, we entered the clouds, but the path could be followed all the way to the grandly built cairn.

A shower hit us just after that photo was taken, and we thought this might be the start of the forecast bad weather for the afternoon.

But in fact it soon cleared, and on the descent we had more views of the valley. Altogether not a bad day considering the weather forecast!
