Route description: The Merrick via Loch Valley, from Glen Trool

Corbetts included on this walk: Merrick, Shalloch on Minnoch

Fionas included on this walk: Craignaw, Mullwharchar

Donalds included on this walk: Craignaw, Dungeon Hill, Kirriereoch Hill, Merrick, Mullwharchar, Shalloch on Minnoch, Tarfessock

Date walked: 21/04/2018

Time taken: 13.2 hours

Distance: 32.3 km

Ascent: 2197m

Alternative title, 'One more 'naw' finished us off' :lol: :lol: Had thought we might include Craiglee for one more Marilyn as we were only walking one day this weekend, but by the time we got to Craignaw summit that was enough for one day :crazy: :lol: 7 Donalds including 2 Corbys and 2 Grahams, 5 of them Marilyns... and a cracking sunburn :roll: (cream is now back in my bag!) 8) :D

went over Shalloch summit to the trig for a better view point (can just about make out Ailsa Craig, left side of horizon). Took boots off and had a rest here before heading back :)

That's an absolute epic again guys. Spoke to Scoob today he was saying about your sunburn Fi. Hopefully no too bad.

It was in the way... not sure how you could miss it :wink: :lol: Thanks Al :wave: Tough going but we'll be back sometime for the other hills in the area :D

:wave: Reckon we can maybe do these big walks every few weeks and take it easier in between :think: :lol: My arm's been swollen all week :shock: but starting to go down now... that'll teach me :roll: :lol:
