I took off down Glen Strathfarrer last weekend to walk over some hills I haven't been to before - 3 sub 2000 tops. The weather was cold and crisp with snow lying above about 2000ft on the strathfarrer achnashellach south and sgurr na lapaich munros. A lovely short day out on some hills that probably rarely see any walkers. Brian
Looking down to my third and smallest marilyn and strathfarrer beyond.

Warning
Please note that hillwalking when there is snow lying requires an ice-axe, crampons and the knowledge, experience and skill to use them correctly. Summer routes may not be viable or appropriate in winter. See winter information on our skills and safety pages for more information.
