Had a wander around Glen Lethnot today following the track up and just before the ford I decided to take the track to the right that led around to Black Hill before retracing my steps back down again! Saw a fair few hare still in their winter coats, golden plover, ring ouzel and several other birds including these two, the smaller bird mobbing the bigger bird

I would have thought raven and golden eagle, though there is something a little bit buzzardy about the wings of the smaller bird. Always hard to tell when they're not fully extended.

Yup, Buzzard and Golden Eagle! The buzzard was quite difficult to ID, in some of the other images I thought peregrine, but zooming right in revealed some of the pattern underneath the wings. I had to wait until I could check the photos before I could find out what I'd seen!
