A walk of, when on the high ground, of very fine vistas to the East. At the start of this walk to visit the wee Elsie, Beinn Tharsuinn, you have to run the gauntlet of much dumped rubbish. Once beyond this opening area fortunately there is a barrier and a locked gate otherwise the rubbish would possibly extend further up the Strath. Not the only area in Scotland where this happens. When on the bike you tend to see more of this dumping of junk. I stay near to an area of marsh between a B road and the railway line....lots of white-goods pressed into the soft terrain and near to Dochgarroch going uphill on a minor road redundant furniture tipped from the roadside into the trees.

Enough buggies here to equip a nursery.

Fairly heavy going for a septuagenarian and an octogenarian...pathless boggy areas with awkward to walk on tussocky vegetation.
