I'd been wanting to climb all Edinburgh's Seven Hills and a beautiful sunny day and a willing friend meant that today's walk would complete the seven.
Up Arthur's Seat first for some windy views, then through the graveyard to Calton Hill and the Trig Point before braving the city centre and finishing at the Castle.

Warning Please note that hillwalking when there is snow lying requires an ice-axe, crampons and the knowledge, experience and skill to use them correctly. Summer routes may not be viable or appropriate in winter. See winter information on our skills and safety pages for more information.
