My first Corbett and very pleasant it was too. Walked up along the side of the Golf course but didn't find any balls!,crossed the bridge and then up through the dear fence, past the sheep (honest) , crossed the burn, and onto the open fell.
Followed the track all the way and found some early season snow where the track forked. Superb atmospheric views from the top with wind blown snow. Great day out.

Warning Please note that hillwalking when there is snow lying requires an ice-axe, crampons and the knowledge, experience and skill to use them correctly. Summer routes may not be viable or appropriate in winter. See winter information on our skills and safety pages for more information.
