Hoped with good intentions to do the Fisherfield 5 from Braemore Junction via Lochovroan Bothy. Had too late a start leaving home on Saturday 12 May which meant we didn`t start walking till after 3pm, me & my youngest son Lee. Anyway thoroughly enjoyed it , camped at the bealach in Coire nan Clach just passed the wee lochan which still had a large ice section on it with a heavy bank of snow still in place too , fantastic sunset views there , awesome. Up early on Sunday - Sgurr Ban 1st, then back to the bealach picking up or gear them UP UP to M Coire M Fh , quite claggy up here , dropping towards Meall Garbh things cleared up considerably and we met 2 guys, moving on to Beinn Tarsuinn , very exciting over the platteau ans pinacles , again meeting more folk , took 100`s of fotos, moving down off Beinn T stopped for a break at 700 M to cook a meal and enjoy the views , again awesome doesnt sum it up. Now the hard bit onto A`Mhaighdean............. i ran out of steam at 800M , i didn`t want to continue as i knew i wouldn`t be able to climb Ruadh Stac Mor as i was knackered , should have left the ridge at Beinn T and walked out.............. this route was a biggie ,decided to do R Stac M & A`Mh in the future from Poolewe with more food etc , i should have taken more. it is a huge walk back out to the A832 48 km all in.Sore.
