I parked at the main car park as I wasn't sure about the marked car park on the minor road. I only did the Cnoc as I really didn't think I'd have time to go over the Brack to get back to the car, but in hind sight maybe I could have given there was very little difference in distance. Such is life. Blue sky day though, so no complaints about the weather or the walking as I went up in my short sleeves. I only put a top on to have my lunch at the top and took it off again to come back down.
The only time I was unsure was leaving the Cowal Way to walk over essentially open hill with no track in sight. Some of it was soft under foot but I just picked a way up roughly following a little stream and kept going till the top. Great views from here, the main reason for wanting to do it. It was a long trudge back to the car, but good to get a walk in after a week's holiday.

Hi we were on The Brack last Wednesday and on the descent to the Cowal Way cairn we spotted someone up top, good chance it was yourself. The views were certainly spectacular that day.
