Route description: Glasgow City Centre and the Green

Date walked: 15/05/2018

Time taken: 1.5 hours

Distance: 5 km

Without wishing to be negative this walk was a bit of a disappointment. OK there were a couple of interesting buildings and bridges to see but I couldn't help comparing this walk to one I did in Edinburgh a few years back which was much more worthwhile. If you want an interesting walk in Glasgow try the Necropolis and Cathedral area but at the end of the day Glasgow isn't Edinburgh!

You should have nipped in to The Saracen Head pub to discuss the merits of Edinburgh v. Glasgow!

You should wander around Maryhill shouting that loudly to people. I'm sure the folk in all the pubs around Byres Road would love to hear it too...
