What a day!

We started off late from near Sligachan due to Richy getting blocked in at Glen Brittle campsite. Chris and Ken still set off at 8am to try and gain a good lead as we waited for Richy. He finally arrived at 8:30am then we followed Steve (our guide) as he set a fast pace to catch Chris and Ken. We caught up with them at the entrance to the corrie and were pretty tired.

We scrambled up Sgurr nan Gillean first. This was a bit of a surprise to every one in terms of exposure. We negotiated some tricky pinnacles then the summit itself was airy. On the way down we abseiled into the corrie then headed up Am Bastier. We bypassed the bad step.

The final Munro was Bruach na Frithe which brought back memories of the previous year. I still think the view from this Munro is very special and it was nice to have chance to climb it again. We were in really good spirits at this point having successfully climbed all Munros! We spent quite a while on the summit. The walk back was a slog!
