Cheated by cycling from Coylumbridge to Loch Einich (Loch Eanich) then taking the stalker's path up to Coire Dhondail. Easy walking from there to Braeriach. Wells of Dee pretty much dried up - oh dear! Great views from top, if a little overcast at times.

1 hour 20 minutes cycle from Coylumbridge to Loch Einich (be sure to take the left hand path at grid ref 928067 or you're in for a pointless climb and descent)
1 hour from Loch Einich to head of Coire Dhondail
1 hour from Coire Dhondail to summit of Braeriach
1 hour 50 mins from Braeriach back to Loch Einich
50 mins cycle back to Coylumbridge

A great day but a real bone shaker on the bike. Ouch! Note to self: get some cycling in before attempting a ride like this or a very sore bottom will be the result!!!

Did this bike route in April as you say a real bone shaker.
Our hybrid bikes certainly weren't designed for that treatment.

Was it a shoes and socks off at the ford.
My wife was raging at how bad the surface was then when we reached the ford that topped it off.haha
