Did the famous Devil's Staircase hike on my second day in Scotland, and what a wonderful introduction to hiking in the Highlands! I've seen many, many great mountain views over the years, and the expansive panorama of the glen from the top of the ridge ranks right up there. Even my long-suffering hiking partner thought it was worth the effort! Also got a nice look at Ben Nevis in the distance.
