Mist and rain for over 4 hrs then it cleared ( I was really hoping it would) as I approached the 2nd summit - Beinn Bhrotain.

Devil's point looks good from up here. And a wee snow bunting joined me for some sausage roll
Only on the way back to Monadh Mor did I notice the path goes all the way to the summit; couldnt see it earlier in the Mist!!

On the way to Monadh Mor, just after the land rover track comes to an end there's the 1st burn crossing. There's a point where you can jump across a couple of wee grassy islands. The 2nd burn was fairly flowing today but I managed to boulder hop across twice- without getting wet - much

Only saw 2 other people today- and they had started from the linn o dee and gone over Beinn bhrotain 1st. Had a brief chat by the summit of Monadh Mor on my reascent

Navigation put to the test ; (good practice says me) and my will to live on the reascents - never been so happy to see a cairn - the wee one at the junction by Carn ban mor.
That meant there was no more ascending today - wayhey.
The bit that says "difficult to navigate in poor visibility" ; believe it.

Good long walk

Cheers
