My first Munros although I had been up Lochnagar 2 weeks prior but thought I would come back and do the 5. Over the moon that I did, got up bright and early on the Saturday morning and opened the curtains to see there wasn't any cloud so headed off and arrived at the car park 8am. My first time up Lochnagar started ok clear sky's then about 10 minutes later I could not see 4 feet in front of me it was still good though. Was better this time could see where I was going, was blowing a bit at the top with some snow so did not hang about to long it wasn't until I started crossing over from Carn an t-Sagairt Mor to Cairn Bannoch the sun popped out which made it even better coming round to the waterfall and Loch Muick arriving back to my car at 4pm.
Brilliant day.

Nice report, started your bagging in style with a 5 peak walk. Keep it up and you'll have them done in no time. :)

Thanks all,
One of my friends at work used to be part of the mountain rescue team up that area and lives in Ballater so after him telling me how good it was thought I better take a look for my self, glad I did. Although I have only started climbing Munro's I think Lochnagar 5 will always be up there at the top of my best walks. :)
