First time down the road to Loch Quioch, picked Gairich as the hill to do. Parked by the dam, headed over, and then more or less followed the WH route through the boggy path. Writing this a year later, don't remember much about the actual ascent other than there was 1 very short bit of scrambling, and the views from the top to the munros on the other side of the loch meant I knew I'd be back down this way. Rather than retracing my steps for the descent, I headed more directly down to the loch, thinking I'd have a nice shoreline walk back rather than the boggy path. Wasn't nearly as good as I thought this way, think I'd have been just as well going back through the bog (or even better, doing it in a dry spell).
