Hadn't been at all lucky with the weather for my KLB travel-day walks thus far, and this was no exception. Could have been worse certainly, but still damp and cloudy, so after a few walks with wet feet, decided to do this boggy one in wellies. Kirsty at KLB had suggested Ben Hee when I said I wanted hill which were on my drive, not having to detour as I was in the van rather than my own car.
So yes it was boggy, but my wellies were comfy, and I didn't need to bother tiptoeing around boggy patches, just splashed right through them. Grassy by the burn, then rockier towards the summit. Descent in wellies (once past the rocks) was great, just stomped/splashed all the way back down. Did an out/back route rather than the circular WH route.
