Am putting this report up because of the headline. This is a great wee mountain but very tough if you look at the ascent and the horizontal, also 260m more vertical than the height of the Munro itself.
We had been walking this whole week - Loch Lochy, Cluanie, Kintail - 9th Munro in four days but this was the only walk where we saw ticks and I took about 20 off our collie, four out of the bigger dog's ears/eyes, one off my son and then one off myself that I found in my bath that night, literally 3-4 inches from my groin (ticks climb until they find a nice spot).
Thank you to the nice chap from Aberdeen who had a tick remover with him, we got rid of a few up top at least.
Bad mistake to wear shorts ! We like to run the grassy slopes though (which explains our time).
