WALK JOURNAL

I am from Morayshire but work on the island at the oil terminal and at nights the lads and I often go out on the bikes and cycle round. There are heaps of WW1&WW2 forts and silos to explore. The route given on here only covers half of the island. On the other half you will find a decommissioned missile silo and lots of foundations and ruins from WW1 and 2 buildings. If you are coming over to explore the island I would suggest going round the WHOLE island so you don't miss out.
