Two Arran Corbetts from Glen Rosa

Today was promised by the weathermen to be the best day of the weekend so without hesitation this was to be the day we did two if not three Arran Corbetts. We parked the car on the Glen Rosa road opposite the camping site where there is enough space for three or four cars.

Nearing a field with some highland cattle, including a bull

Carefully does it think we will walk kind off slow not to startle the calves

Looking up Glen Rosa from a wee resting place, soon after passing this you cross a burn then turn and walk up alongside the burn on the far side

Looking back from the path adjacent to the burn which climbs steadily up towards a fairly wet section of faint path through deep undergrowth

After passing through the gate within the deer fence at the high point of path onto the open hillside

The burn which requires to be crossed if in spate there is a section of deer fence which may assist your crossing

Higher up the underfoot going becomes much rockier and route finding is more tricky

The path skirts around to the right along a grassy traverse

The path ahead drops down and then climbs again, clearly seen in photo
