It's been hot and sunny for days but the weather broke on Saturday. Forecast was bad but actual weather wasn't as bad. Very little wind. It was very light drizzle in the morning which was refreshing. It got more persistent later and developed into steady but not too hard rain.
Very picturesque walk. Walked through a wood lower down. The stream had lots of waterfalls and bowls where the water had scoured out the rock.
Biggest event was me falling. I tried to jump down a small step but did something and went flying. Did something to my ankle. It was really painful when it happened. Luckily Christine had strong painkillers which helped. Managed to hirple my way down and snap one of my walking poles in the process.
