The previous day we had tried to tackle this hill from the North but because of the large amount of rain we could not cross the river see photo. As it had continued for most of the day it made sense to try to climb it from a Southerly direction via Glen Rosa even though this was going to add an additional couple of hours to the day, but it at least gave us a route without a river crossing. Who should we meet at the car parking area, non other than weaselmaster and son, nice to meet up again Al, many congratulations on your second compleation by the way.
