Day 2 - Balmaha to Inversnaid

As we set off this morning it was persistently raining and Loch Lomond was shrouded in mist.
It was, however, neither cold nor windy so we were able to walk in just shorts and t-shirt and not get too cold.
Today's walking started along pretty good path, following the lochside.
We were surrounded by trees for most of the day and particularly enjoyed the greenery of the forestry past Rowchoish.

The walking was slower going today as our speed was limited by navigating the ups and downs of the track and the odd bit of scrambling over rocks etc.
It was still an enjoyable day's walking and despite being wet all day we appreciated the rain during such a dry summer.
We'd met a fellow walker en-route who had told us that it was possible to get a flit to Inversnaid bunkhouse, instead of having to walk up the hill. We were certainly glad of that when we finally arrived in Inversnaid.
Al in all a good day's walking and nothing too challenging. Enjoyable despite the rain.
