second visit to carn gorm after making a navigation error last time I was there and ended up on wrong trail.

we where doing fine this visit despite low cloud and poor visibility till we headed to last summit when it started to go wrong as last munro on os map was meal na aighean but gpx plotter had us going to creah mhor,

standard view
glen lyon 1.png

and zoomed in
glen lyon 2a.png

on standard view guide shows two creag mhor summits and a meal na aighean summit which did not correspond to os map we had or gps unit, but if you zoom in on guide it show final summit as meal na aighean.

This hill was originally known as Creag Mhor (up until the 1990 edition of Munros Tables), but this name properly belongs to the 822m summit (and the crags on its south face). The OS maps all show it now as Meall na Aighean, but Open Street Map doesn't seem to have caught up properly!

Agree. I noticed when zooming in on most online maps, that one top actually changes name.

It doesn't help much having another top in the vicinity with the same name, either 🤔

So the issue is really with OpenStreetMap, not with the Walkhighlands route guide?

Yes!
