Good to make an early start to catch the sunrise - nearly got to this hill a few years ago after nearby Badandun hill but bad weather put paid to that idea - might need to try to get back some time - cheers

Thanks. Yes, I did find a hill and more. I was mildly concerned that my route didn't meet stalking requirements of staying on ridges and main water courses but not far off I think. I was also checking out potential routes up other nearby hills such as Monawee hill (parlty, I admit, so that I can one day write a report entitled 'Monaweehill).

You haven't lived unless you have been to Hunt hill.

Cheers. I must have descended that way when I was here in about 1991 or so but I'd completely forgotten the gorge or maybe its just a bit more special with the autumn colours. Fine gullies too along the flank of Hunt Hill.
