Route description: Duns Law, Castle and Hen Poo, Duns

A very nice walk through the woods, glorious colours in Autumn. The path was well waymarked for the most part. Coming down the Law the path is a little overgrown but easy enough to head for the duck pond. We missed the turning after the mill lade because the signpost there is down so look out for it. But after that we were nearly out of the estate so soon realised.
The final part of the walk on the road was a drag. I guess that rather than turning right after the cottage following the sign to Duns you could carry on to the access road to the castle and cut back to the starting point that way
