Parked up at Loch Laggan and headed off down the long road to Lochan na h-Earba
. Plodding on up the path, the sun caught Beinn a Chaoruinn.
. Bushwhacked across the moor and hit the snow. A helpful trail of footprints found the deep patches for us (Thanks whoever you are) and we reached ice, ridge and cloud all at once. Once again the satmap came into its own following a curving route across confusing terrain with almost no visibility. Eventually we reached the summit cairn.
. Quick hot chocolate before heading off down the long west ridge. The crags of the south face rose to meet us and the clouds parted to reveal a setting sun.[attachment=4].Down to a boggy track in the half light and the long trudge back to the A86.
