Is it possible to explore the cave of gold? I would like to think so...
To get there you have a short hike from the car park. It is as easy as it gets more or less. Getting down was not a big problem either, but it was harder than walking on flat ground...When you get down there you see the cave, and you might wonder what it looks like from the inside, and how deep it is. I would like to say that this hike could be really adventurous if you try to make your way into the cave. But way a minute now mister. This is NOT a cave you can hike into. But I would have wanted to come back in the summer with a wet suit and some more equipment to try to see if it is possible to swim in and check out the cave. You would have go when conditions are calm so you are not getting bashed by the waves. And you should probably have a companion on land with a rope tied to a flotation device that you can bring with you. This is really not for everyone...
But what else can you do in addition the checking out the cave from the outside?
Well, you can check out more of the coast. On the way back I made my way down to the coast and checked out some cool rock formations. Use the link bellow to check out my video from the cave of gold if you are interested. Starting 8 minutes and 58 seconds into the video.
