Another bike and hike today - this time starting at the car park in old Bridge of Tilt. We followed the route described as far as the bothy where we were initially going to leave our bikes. However, after starting to walk up the track towards the stalkers path we thought it was also ride-able, so we returned to collect the bikes.
We eventually left the bikes at the foot of the stalkers path and headed up. The weather was improved from the previous days with no wind, although no real views either.
We reached the summit about 3 hours after we started and stopped for 15 minutes or so for lunch.

Refreshed we set off at a good pace and got back to the bikes about 45 minutes later.
We had a short push up the opposite side of the valley towards Carn Dearg Mor, but once we started moving it was a big gear all the way and we powered back past the rifle range and arrived back at the car (very muddy) 3 hours 45 after setting off.
