Sidlaw Hills, a local evening wander

A family and friend evening walk was organised on the first good weather day and Auchterhouse Hill was chosen as some were fairly new to the hillwalking experience.

Starting off from the car park at Balkello and heading off North West

Awwww ... in the days when I stayed in Dundee the Auchterhouse - Craigowl circuit was a regular dog walk ... been up there in all weathers. Great to see it again, many thanks

That circuit has a special place in my heart. After all it saved my sanity one day back in 2011. A return visit is long overdue.

Hi Graeme, it's a fine wee stroll over the three hills, never gone over to Kinpurny Hill as yet, maybe soon though
