An ore-dinary stroll at Loch Ore

Busy work schedules along with moving house (twice!) in the last few months has led to a particular lack of autumn walks this year, but at the end of October we did manage to get up to Loch Ore in Fife for a couple of hours on a beautiful, cold morning. Getting lost is impossible - just follow the shore - though we went clockwise unlike the WH route, which goes the other way. Nothing particularly out of the ordinary, but good wildlife spotting and perfect weather. A few photos without further ado:

Stunning photos! - thanks for posting up the TR - I have done the shore walk at Loch Leven but I was completely unaware of this nearby route and how scenic it is.

One of these days I may move up to Fife, so it is great to know that this walk might be on my doorstep.

Blast from the past. I used to sometimes go there with the dog for a walk and a dip when I was a lad in Dunfermline back in the day.

Thanks Tim, it was indeed very scenic. And much shorter than walking around Loch Leven, which is a bit of a marathon!

I live close to Lochore Meadows Country Park and walk regularly round its s shores in all seasons and you have caught it at its best with great Autumn colours
Did you take time to visit the Willie Clark Centre and Cafe for coffee or soup?

Thanks Bob. Beautiful time of year, definitely.

We did pop into the centre briefly to read the displays and use the loos, but not for anything to eat on this occasion.
