Planning to do a chunk of the West Highland Way in early March.
Overnight train to Crianlarich, then walking to Bridge of Orchy. Second day from there to Glencoe.
Does anyone here have any idea of facilities open at that time of year en route?
What might I expect in terms of weather at that time of year?
Any specialist gear I will need for snow?

Weather early March
Rain very likely ranging from gentle showers to heavy continuous.
Wind probable and anything from gentle to gale.
Temperature around 5C daytime plus or minus a couple of degrees, colder on the higher elevations - freezing..
Snowfall possible but less likely than rain.
Lying snow quite possible but depth unpredictable but most likely on the higher elevation sections.

Be prepared for the worst and hope for one of the rarer winter high pressure systems and a couple of clear and cold days.

Check out the Traffic Scotland website for the live cameras on A82 at Altnafeadh and Tyndrum for an idea of conditions before you go..
