A'Chralaig and Mullach Fraoch Choire

In the late eighties and nineties at the end of May, the South side of the highland hills were often Summer like, while the Northern sides were quite wintery with large snow patches. We walked the standard WH route on these two hills on a fine clear day. these are the pictures

Yes - but we went on to do the Mullardoch Circuit directly after this and got stormed the first night camping on the col behind Beinn Fhionnlaidh . Camping gear weighed a lot more than it does today and all I can really remember about the trip was the weight of my sack. Later - in July - tho, the weather was great. We bivouaced above the CIC hut and Did Minus one direct on the Saturday and Centurion on the Sunday - best weekend's climbing I ever had
