We missed the start of this walk, heading too far along the track beside Loch Treig, and had to climb quite steep slopes to get on to the ridge. Looking at other peoples reports we were not alone
I absolutely loathe reversing ascent routes, so from the second Munro, rather than doing that, we descended NW - initially on a steep snow ridge - into Coire Laire, followed the burn down and then returned along the dismantled railway. Slightly longer, but a nicer route I think. And I don't remember it being all that boggy
Here are the photos - hopefully in the right order
On the early level section - looking across to the Grey Corries
View North across Glen Spean and Loch Laggan to Beinn a Chaorain and the Creag Meagaidh massif
Nearing the start of the climb to Stob a Choire Mheadoin
On the first Summit - I think Prince is looking for a treat
Looking W to the Grey Corries and beyond
On to Stob Coire Easain
Looking back from The second Munro to the first
Down in the valley looking back up in the sunshine
Final view North
