Distance: 14.9 km

Ascent: 1544m

Parking on the A827 beside Loch Tay is a major problem but we managed to find a field gateway near the start of the ascent to Meall Greig. We knew that there were gentians on Ben Lawers and almost immediately we found some blue flowers that I had never seen elsewhere and these were they :D
From Meall Greig we continued over Meall Garbh and the Stuc to Ben Lawers . The broad ridge down from the Summit must be a wonderful ski run in the right conditions and proved an easy descent in early June. here are the photos:-

We stayed at the Weem hotel where the lovely landlady had exactly the same accent as Anna Cartaret in Juliet Bravo :lol: :lol: We did the WH Vorlich - Stuc a Chroin circuit next day
